Throughout his career, Peter has shown immense enthusiasm for the industry. From his role as the Chair of the professional review panel at the Institute of Hospitality to his leadership at The Crumbs Project—a charity focused on providing Hospitality education and training to disadvantaged adults—his contributions have been monumental.

Angela Maher, Chief Executive of The Savoy Educational Trust, accepted the award on Peter’s behalf during the Cateys gala event held at the W Marriott Grosvenor House London on July 2, 2024.

Receiving the award at The Crumbs Project’s training centre in Bournemouth, Peter expressed his pride in the organization’s work and its mission to uplift disadvantaged adults.

He stated,

The education and training awards are a profound honour that encapsulates my lifelong passion for Hospitality education. This recognition not only celebrates past achievements but also fuels my enthusiasm for the industry’s future. It reinforces my commitment to opening doors for those whose start in life is less fortunate than many, by helping them to build fulfilling careers and to live independently.

I’m deeply grateful for this acknowledgement and see it as a powerful platform to further amplify the vital work of The Crumbs Project, ensuring that the transformative power of education and training reaches those who need it most.”
