This Saturday saw AFC Bourenouth take on Premier League rivals West Ham in support of Club charity The Crumbs Project.
Callum Wilson netted one of his finest goals for the Cherries to pave the way for their 2-0 win over the Hammers. And Joshua King capped a stirring second-half showing from Eddie Howe’s team by scoring a second goal to secure the win for the Cherries’.
Trainees and staff from The Crumbs Project were at the game to witness the Cherries hard-earned victory. The Crumbs Team were honored to become flag bearers for AFC Bournemouth’s team and were there to cheer the team on to the pitch. The Crumbs Project has been chosen to be the Club’s Charity of the Year and this Premier League game was in support of the charity.
Last month Crumbs Trainees were invited to cook alongside AFC Bournemouth’s U18s team in the professional kitchen of the Vitality Stadium. AFCBTV were there to catch our trainees in action and the footage was displayed on the main screen during this Saturday’s match.
Commenting on the match, The Crumbs Project Operations Manager, Leanne Miller said; “This has been a fantastic opportunity for our trainees and staff to come out to support AFC Bournemouth. They have had thoroughly enjoyed the experience – cheering on the team and singing songs. We are truly honored to be the Club’s Charity of the Year and have the support of AFC Bournemouth behind us.”
